Mr. Laba earned his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California in 1984, graduating with honors — earning a place on both the Pepperdine Dean's Honor List and the United States National Dean's List, and ranking first in his class in Products Liability, Remedies, and Admiralty. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from the University of Manitoba (1981), where he graduated with honors and was named a Manitoba and Western Regional Finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1984 and the Massachusetts Bar two years later.
Before founding the Law Offices of Ronald B. Laba, APC in 1991, Mr. Laba was a principal at Kirby & Laba in San Diego and began his legal career with a legal internship at the Office of the California Attorney General, Department of Justice, Division of Tax and Business.
Mr. Laba became an attorney to defend the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and everything they guarantee. He built his practice to level a playing field that's stacked against injured people, and that same relentless pursuit of justice defines how he fights for every client today.
